European Heritage Days - “Meillerie and the Rescue” Exhibition
Description
This small village has two rescue teams: MEILLERIE, founded in 1886, and Bret-Locum, founded in 1923. Both are made up of volunteers whose goal is to provide rapid assistance to people and boats in distress.
Both are members of the SISL: Société Internationale de Sauvetage du Léman. Come discover their rich history.
