AMAP Les Mains aux Paniers

Description

Bringing together small, ultra-local producers, working naturally close to home, and centralizing a point of sale to offer complete baskets.
The Amap and the principle of mutual commitment: One season's baskets are paid for in advance, with mutual risk-taking: The producer undertakes to supply a fixed number of families every week for the duration of the contract. Consumers are also involved, sharing the risks with producers (bad weather, drought, etc.). The producer no longer assumes 100 percent, it's 50/50. An excellent way to support small-scale, unsubsidized farming, which is sorely lacking in our region. It's up to each and every one of us to make it happen, because the producers are right here, right now! It's also an opportunity for members to share and meet, at events organized around peasant themes, to help and exchange, during distribution, to discover the way producers work, on dedicated sites, and to get involved, by taking on a volunteer position...
