Snowshoeing itinerary : boucle de Pré Richard

A nice snowshoeing loop to discover the Bernex area with beautiful viewpoints! This itinerary proposes an ascent via Bécret and the descent via Esserts.

The ascent is via the Bécret. The start is at the bottom of the chairlift. Take the road on the left, then continue on the path. You will cross alpine pastures and forests and the place called Bécret. Shortly after passing the TK du Bécret, take the path in the forest following the snowshoeing signs. The climb is through the forest. You will reach the ski slope and then the path that leads to the restaurant at the top of the chairlift. From the arrival of the Pré Richard chairlift, go down along the track on the right. When you reach the flat, continue to the right, following the fence surrounding a small lake. At the end of the flat, cross the piste and the Pellys ski lift to take a piste which climbs to the left and reaches a clearing. Go down the track on the right which allows you to reach the starting point of the Mont Baron and Pellys ski lifts. Descend a little further, heading for the right side of the chalet. The path enters the forest, twists and turns and reaches a meadow. Go down to the Chalets des Esserts. Take the track that goes into the forest and goes down along the torrent. Do not take the right-hand departures which allow you to join the Lanche track. You reach the car park which you just have to cross to reach the foot of the chairlift.
