Description

This snowshoe trail offers magnificent panoramic views of Lake Geneva and Pointe de Pelluaz.
You’ll cross the wide-open spaces of the Tirou, Frasse, and Bonne Eau alpine pastures, dotted with traditional mountain chalets.

From the Morgon Bridge, follow the road upstream along the river without crossing it.
The road gives way to a trail that leads into the forest and takes you to a crossroads (La Coutettaz).
Turn right to climb up an open area facing the Dent d’Oche.
The trail crosses the stream and climbs to the right up to the Bonne Eau chalets.
After passing the buildings, climb to the left, straight up the slope through a clearing.
The slope becomes steeper before reaching a level trail; take it to the right.
Follow it to the Tirou chalets, where you’ll enjoy a wide-open view.
Then descend to the right into a hollow bordered by woods.
Pay close attention to the trail markers to find the spot where you enter the forest; pass in front of a chalet and descend to a trail.
Take it to the right, and when you reach an isolated chalet, descend to the left to reach the hamlet of Malpasset and its traditional houses.
Take the road to the right until you reach a footbridge over the Ugine.
Cross it and take the trail that descends alongside the stream, which cascades down the path, offering stunning scenery.
At La Chevrette, turn right to reach the Morgon Bridge.
