National cross-country skiing meeting for foresters - APAS ONF
Description
APAS ONF (Association pour l'Action Sociale à l'Office National des Forêts) works to develop social, cultural, sports and leisure activities.
Among its activities, a dynamic cross-country skiing section organizes friendly sporting activities based on Nordic sports.
The national cross-country skiing meetings for foresters bring together agents from all over France for a sporting competition.
The program includes :
- an individual freestyle race (approx. 10 km for men and 5 km for women),
- a team relay race
- as well as an introduction to biathlon
Beyond the sporting aspect, these meetings are above all a time for sharing and conviviality, based on the values of sport, team spirit and a passion for natural spaces. They also provide an opportunity to discover a region, a Nordic ski resort and its forest environment.
The 2026 edition of the national cross-country ski meetings will take place from January 7 to 9 on the La Chapelle d'Abondance Nordic ski area.
Around 50 participants are expected, including athletes, companions and volunteers.

Introduction to biathlon
Thursday, January 8 at 4:30 p.m.
Team relay race
Friday, January 9 at 9 a.m.
