"Notre salut" film screening presented by the Association for the Cultural Development of Abondance.
In September 1940, the Pétain regime took power. Henri Marre, 49, arrived in Vichy penniless, with no contacts, and far from his wife and children. He saw the new administration as an opportunity to finally find the position he deserved. In his suitcase, he carried his self-published political treatise, Notre Salut, in which he defended his patriotic convictions and his engineering methods. His credo: “gaining efficiency” to lift France out of its debacle.
Adult: 5.50 €, Child: 4.50 €.
