Journées Nationales de l'Architecture - Greening the schoolyard at Thollon-les-Mémises

To mark the Journées Nationales de l'architecture, the Pays d'art et d'histoire is teaming up with the commune and CAUE 74 (Conseil d'architecture, d'urbanisme et de l'environnement) for a theme day focusing on the greening of schoolyards.

10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Screening of the film De l'herbe sous le bitume-École de Novel à Annecy by CAUE 74 (in the school gymnasium). Presentation of the Thollon-les-Mémises schoolyard greening project by Benjamin Servoz and the Olea workshop, which worked on the greening of the schoolyard. Presentation by CAUE 74 on best practices for greening schoolyards. 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Visit to Thollon schoolyard. 12pm to 2pm: Picnic (at the school in case of bad weather). 2pm to 4pm: Become the architects of biodiversity by building a collective insect hotel for the school.
