There, his only occupations were fishing for food and chopping wood for fuel. He rediscovers the joys of reading and solitary reflection. Actor William Mesguich follows in the writer's footsteps, finding the rigor and contemplation to embody Sylvain Tesson's solitude, rich in meditation and wonder at the landscape.
