We invite you to plunge into the heart of an exceptional worksite: the restoration of the roofs of the Abbey of Abondance, the first phase of an ambitious project to restore, restructure and enhance the Abbey. Through a series of photographs, we invite you to take a behind-the-scenes look at a unique worksite, where craftsmanship meets the modern challenges of heritage conservation. These images, taken on the spot throughout the project from 2012 to 2017, highlight the expertise of the craftsmen, the precision of their gestures, and the noble materials used to bring this centuries-old building back to life.
