Bernex skiing domain is accessible to all, from beginners to confirmed athletes, and offers magnificent views over the lake and the Mont Blanc.

Bernex Dent d'Oche, a charming mountain village nestled at the foot of the Dent d'Oche, between the lake and the mountains, features traditional buildings and numerous chalets spread across the Gavot plateau, just a few kilometers from Evian-les-Bains. And when the Bernex ski resort is blanketed in snow, every kind of winter activity is available—from dog sledding and snowboarding to snowshoeing, downhill skiing, and ski touring.

With its 19 ski runs totaling 50 kilometers and 12 ski lifts (including 3 chairlifts), the Bernex ski area ranges in elevation from 1,000 to 1,900 meters.

With a predominantly northwest exposure, the ski runs in Bernex will delight skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. Those less confident on skis can start out on the practice ski lifts (the La Mouille, La Pallud, La Lèche, and Tétras ski lifts) and on the three green runs, which are perfectly groomed and marked out to provide an ideal introduction to skiing under excellent conditions.

Once they’ve gotten the hang of the basics of skiing (balance, stance, and controlling speed and direction), intermediate skiers can explore the resort’s five blue runs: Combet, Le Talot, Les Plagnettes, and L’Ugine/Bécret.

But Bernex is also an excellent playground for skilled skiers, as two-thirds of the slopes are designed for them. In fact, experienced skiers will string together turns and curves on the 8 red runs, which offer challenging terrain, while the most seasoned skiers won’t hesitate to hurtle down the 2 black runs, which alternate between walls of moguls, steep slopes, and varied terrain skillfully integrated throughout their routes. So head to the Lac de Pelluaz area to tackle the runs on the Pelluaz, La Variante, and Les Chalets Verts slopes...
