Adult alpine ski lessons

The French Ski School of La Chapelle d'Abondance offers group or private lessons for all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Group lessons take place from Sunday to Friday, with an end-of-course test on Friday. The different levels of adult group lessons: Ski group: You have never skied or you have tried once or twice for yourself, you want to discover skiing and the mountain environment, join our ski group. I familiarize myself with the equipment and the snow. I use my first ski lifts. I control my speed and do snowplow turns. I do different types of movements to work on my balance. Class 1: You have 1 to 2 weeks of skiing, you want to gain confidence and control your speed and trajectories, join our class 1 group. I chained elementary turns (convergent ski with end of skidded turn on parallel skis). I'm starting to slip. Class 2: You have 3 to 4 weeks of skiing, you want to evolve on different terrains and types of snow, join our class 2 group. I descend in basic parallel turns. I can do a basic scull and I control my skids. Class 3: You want to continue your improvement, you want to evolve in all snow on all types of terrain, take part in a slalom session, discover the Portes du Soleil area, we will direct you to a private lesson or a commitment. Technical skiing, performance skiing, off-piste skiing.
